DOOR CRASH
GAS MASK
LOUD BLAST
RUN FAST
Written 7/20/12 - morning of the shootings
Enjoying a movie just after midnight,
A man bursts in from the theater's front right.
A shot in the air, and smoke blinding their sight,
Then all the shooting brings screams of fright -
Some dropping to the ground, or taking flight,
Protecting their loved ones, holding on tight.
